RIEDEL WINEWINGS, a series of wine glasses designed to enhance the unique aromas and flavors of different grape varietals, features a thoughtfully engineered shape to optimize the wine's exposure and evaporation. The flat, stretched bottom and wing-like design increases the surface area the wine comes into contact with, resulting in heightened levels of evaporation and a more intense aroma experience.

When positioning one's head to the glass, the wider surface of the wine brings the nose closer, allowing for a more immersive olfactory experience. However, to fully capture the delicate, layered aromas of each grape variety, the glass walls are curved, and the opening is precisely calibrated to the rim diameter.

The Chardonnay glass is designed to showcase the classic aromas of fresh yellow fruits and the rich, buttery flavors that can develop when the wine is aged in oak barrels and undergoes malolactic fermentation. The Riesling glass, on the other hand, is tailored to highlight the powerful floral aromas, crisp acidity, and touch of sweetness (without new oak or malolactic fermentation). The Sauvignon Blanc glass is perfect for all styles of this variety, from the grassy, fruit-forward wines of the Marlborough region to the oak-aged, honeyed blends from Bordeaux, offering freshness, intensity on the nose, a harmonious palate with an excellent balance of fruit and acidity, and a minerally finish.

The Winewings wine glasses feature a flat-bottomed, wide design reminiscent of the wing of an aircraft, complete with winglets. This innovative shape not only increases the surface area exposed to the wine but also allows for optimal evaporation, resulting in a more intense aroma experience.
